Athlete ID #'s Info

Using Athlete ID #'s

All athletes are assigned a unique ID #, which will be used at all SCVAL Dual Meets during the season.

The ID # should be legibly written on the backside of the hand with a black sharpie for the dual meets.

If the ID# is not used, your mark will not be entered, and this will slow down the compilation of team scores and results.

  • Field event athletes will sign up for their event using their ID# as well as their full name & school.

  • For track events, you will either report the ID# at the start line of the event or at the finish line
(depending on who is timing the meet).

ID #'s are found on our Entries Google Sheet which is shared before every dual meet.

Finishing the 3200m

When you finish, move out to Lane 4 so the timer can record your finish time.

Once you have finished, stay in order and report your ID# and division (VB,VG,JVB,JVG) to the finish official.

If you are done racing, DO NOT cross the finish line for any reason.

Crossing the finish is reason for a disqualification.
