If you just want to modify the notification settings, click on the three dots to the right of the "X" icon, and you will see the "Settings and sharing" option, select it. Once in the settings select "Event notifications" from the expanded settings list on the left. This will take you to the various types of notifications which you can customize for the calendar in question.
