Why have a screening?
Research has shown that conventional, non-cardio focused checkups overlook 90% of young individuals susceptible to sudden cardiac arrest. Studies demonstrate that Electrocardiograms (EKGs) represent the most effective screening tool for this. Consequently, international guidelines advocate for biennial screenings of youth up to the age of 25 to address this critical health concern.

Several School Districts have recently mandated heart screenings for student athletes as part of their athletic clearance process.
